Noise protection at work
Do you work in an industrial environment, commercial transport or building site? Are you regularly exposed to noise caused by road, rail or airport traffic? Are you employed within the armed forces? Are you a hairdresser?
The 2005, Control of Noise at Work Regulation (http://www.hse.gov.uk/noise/regulations.htm) states that employers are required by law to control the noise level at work. If unable to ban the risk of noise damage, they should provide suitable personal hearing protection for their employees, where noise levels exceed 80 decibels.
At The Art of Hearing, we will first conduct a full assessment of your hearing. This information is essential to provide personalised advice on the specific type of noise-plugs that will suit your specific environment.
If you already experience hearing difficulty and / or tinnitus we will work with you to ensure we fulfil you individual hearing needs and preferences.
